Town Day.
We have a number of things to do: the kiddies monthly junkfood takeaway (takeout for all you 'Merikans); buying two back summer tires for the Audi; trips to the grocery and the gardening warehouse. All this (and a bit more) must be accomplished, plus tummies must be filled before Hub goes to the football (sorry, soccer) game in Gothenburg with The Guys.
Hub is calling the municipality to get a list of the school books, so we can buy copies of the Swedish history, nature and language books for grades 6 & 7 of the coming year. Bible, Math, foreign languages (in our case, that would include Language Arts), World history and Science books will be our own choices. Art, music, folksongs & hymns and handiwork course ideas will be taken from Ambleside.
I wonder if I can find anyone who has used Dr. Dino's Creation Science books and ask if they are any good. I've seen lots of reviews about Apologia Science, but they are sooooo expensive. =(
